There are a big choice of bicycle Manufacturers in Vietnam including both foreign invested enterprises and local manufacturers.
The foreign invested enterprises are A&J High Ride Bicycle (Binh Duong Province), Vietnam Sheng Fa International (Ho Chi Minh City), Asama Juh Jiun Vietnam (Binh Duong Province), Dragon Bicycle Vietnam (Dong Nai Province), Liang Industrial (Dong Nai Province), Strongman (Dong Nai Province).

A&J High Ride Bicycle

The Parent Company within the Worldwide group is A&J Enterprise Co Ltd, Based in Taichung, Taiwan. Originally started in the 1980’s as a trading company, opened its first Assembly Factory in Taiwan in 1996, from there the group expanded and went from strength to strength, the second Factory – A&J Europe Ltd, was opened in Wales in the UK in 2000. In 2003 Came High Ride Bicycle in Vietnam and produced close to 700,000 Bicycles a year in 2004 and 2005, mostly destined for the European market.

Vietnam Sheng Fa International

Sheng Fa Industries Co., Ltd. was established in May 1970 at Taiwan Taipei, with a primary focus in exporting high-end, high quality products worldwide. SF’s products include a variety of models, such as Mountain Bike, Trekking Bike, City Bike, Folding Bike, Beach Cruiser, Suspension Bike, Electric Bike, Explorer Bike and BMX, etc. SF has extended its manufacturing base to Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City, since 2001.

The local manufacturer is Le Ngoc Han Bicycle Company that has been merged into Haprosimex Company, Thong Nhat and Xuan Hoa bicycle companies.

Thong Nhat Bicycle Motorcycle Company

Thong Nhat bicycle motorcycle company is the state-owned enterprise leading in bicycle manufacturing in Viet Nam. Products of the company, including: various bicycle and it’s component, are produced by advanced technologies on Japanese and Taiwannese machine-lines. The “Thong Nhat” bicycles trademark has be voted “Vietnam high quality commodity'”‘ in many recent years by consumer and awarded the gold medals in domestic exhibitions, trade fairs. Thong Nhat product has gotten EU standard export.

Xuan Hoa Company

Xuan Hoa Company is a state-owned enterprise which was established in 1980. The company produces metal furniture and spare parts for motorcycles with a workforce of around 900 employees. The company is ISO 14,001 certified and exports around 50% of its products to Europe, Japan and Korea. The company faces pressure from its clients to reduce costs and to have a good environmental standard and is thus highly motivated to produce in a more sustainable manner.
