Quang Yen Quang Ninh is a rural district of Quang Ninh Province in the north east Vietnam. Quang Yen district covers an area of 332 km². The district might not be an ideal place for mountain biking, cycle challenge. The best way to get to Quang Yen from Hanoi is to rent a car with driver. You will be picked up at your place in Hanoi and brought straight to Quang Yen. The journey takes about 4 hours on road. Those who are on budget can take local public bus from My Dinh/Gia Lam/Giap Bat bus station. Taking a guided tour (with a tour guide) is highly recommended. Annual average rainfall, influenced by north-eastern monsoons, varies between 1,700 mm and 2,400 mm (maximum recorded is 2751 mm), with rainfall concentrated in the summer months for 90 to 170 days, particularly in July and August.
