The Return to Dien Bien Phu Cycling Tournament, which is organized by the Vietnam Motor-Bicycle Sports Federation, is scheduled to be held from May 2-7 as part of activities to mark the anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

The cyclists will race in six stages for a total of 555 km. The stage race begins at Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi before running through Hoa Binh and Son La cities and finishing in Dien Bien city on May 7.

Last year there were twenty two women’s and men’s teams from Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam have registered to participate in the event.
